Friends are like Stars, U may not see them, but they’re always There
Friends are the Best. They are the Rock Stars of our existence. They are the people we have given a place and role to in our lives. They are the people we play with, work with and depend on. We trust our friends more than we do any others in our world, sometimes even more than family. That said, it can be most difficult when we don’t see our friends on a regular basis. We begin to feel incomplete and disconnected when space and time creeps in and keeps us away from our friends. However, if the foundation of the friendship is strong, then no amount of time, space or circumstance can alter the solidness of the foundation. You can trust that if the friendship is strong, it is sure to last long.
Our friends have hopefully earned their position in our world, which is why they are more than simply classmates, colleagues and acquaintances to us. Oftentimes we have suffered struggles, tragedies and mistakes with the people we call friends and usually how they helped us tackle those situations is how they got the title of Friend. When we are unable to be in the presence of a friend it can get us down. However, the up side is that whenever we’re back together with our friend, the time and space that separated us disappears. Even when years have passed without contact, we know if called upon, that friend will run to our rescue. We look forward to reconnecting because we know the fun that happens when we’re with them. We look forward to it because they never fail us and that’s why the sadness when they are not around is always short lived, until we meet again. Our Friends are just like Stars…we may not always see them, but they are always there and that alone should give us comfort until our next encounter.
