Not everyone playing the game on your side wants the Home Team to WIN

Everybody wants to be on a winning team. It is easy, fun and popular to be on someone’s team when everything is good in the neighborhood. When we have a lot of people on our team, it is imperative that we watch how every one person around us moves and at the very least, be totally honest with ourselves about that movement, no matter who it comes from.  In a perfect world everyone that tells congratulations means it whole-heartedly, everyone who extends a hand means to help you work toward the win and is elated when you get there, even if it’s without them. However, the grown know that this world is far from perfect and everyone in your space is not hoping you make it to 1st place. Jealousy can supersede, love, relation, and admiration. Therefore, even a lover, relative or mentor is capable of allowing envy to override how they initially feel about us. No matter how much we care for, love and admire someone. It doesn’t make them superhuman and they too can fall victim to less the righteous sentiment from time to time.

Remember though that it is our job to recognize flawed behavior and adjust even if it means putting space between them and us. We may want and wish this person was truly working in our favor but once it becomes obvious that they aren’t, removing them will be the hardest job that must be done because we control the vibe of our tribe. Do we want to dismiss a friend or family? No. However, does that mean that we are supposed to take treatment that is subpar because we love them? Hell no. The truth is everyone playing the game on your side doesn’t want the home team to win. But that is their problem, not ours. The Creator reveals to us that which we need to know in order to move forward. If a hater is revealed in the form of a friend, STOP, LOOK, & LISTEN to the message because it is for your betterment in the end. You can ignore it if you want, but trust the signs of the times will indeed get bigger until you deliver a different result. The choice is yours, but don’t get too overly confident in the crowd around because strength doesn’t always come in numbers. It doesn’t matter how many people you have in the room as long as you have the right people in the room. Quality beats quantity all day, every day and it is our job to control the vibe of our tribe, our way.
