People will find a way to Poke you if you Show them where it hurts

People can do the dumbest things, with little to no real reason. They laugh at the tragedies of the world that aren’t funny. They minimize things of vital importance to most. More often than not, people will find a way to poke you, even after you show them where it hurts. You can let someone know exactly what you hate, and trust that some flake cake will be the first to do exactly what you told them you didn’t like and act confused when you trip out! Being elusive is the key. It’s okay to tell people what type of person you are, but don’t give away all the gold. Leave a little mystery to how you operate that way there will be less about you up for debate.

No matter how many times you tell people what grinds your gears, please believe there is always going to be that one person who commits the offense with no other motive than to see you flip out about it. Regardless of how many times you say you’re insecure about something, there’s always going to be that one fool who points out your self-proclaimed flaw. Although it may feel like an attack on you, it’s really done to bring attention to them via you and your issues. The best way to deal with this is to never wear your feelings on your sleeve for the world to see. Be abstract, be obscure and make those that care enough to do the work figure you out. Illustrating your weaknesses gives a guide to hurt. The sad reality is that people like drama. They gravitate to mess and that’s what they like to deal in, but that doesn’t mean you have to participate. Be bigger than that and keep your intimate feelings, pains and the like to yourself until you know you are around righteous people that will not use your hurt against you. Because like it or not, people will find a way to poke you, if you show them where it hurts, so slow the show and be alert!

As always it is my pleasure to offer a Mental Meal to chew on throughout the week. Plan to Join the Jam w/ the show dubbed the Soul Train of Radio, Back on the B Cyde with T Elice & Kymmie K this Saturday at 11 am only on 7mileradio.com
