A report came to us about the 14 year old daughter of Marinna Thompson; concerning an incident where her daughter was assaulted at a Detroit gas station by 2 adult employees. The gas station is located on the east side of Detroit, on the corner of Dequindre and State Fair. Thompson stated, her daughter was inside of the gas station with her two sisters and little brother; her daughter noticed a female employee recording her with a cell phone as she proceeded around the gas station. It was said, the 14 year old, then asked the woman why she was recording her, and some heated words were exchanged.Thompson said, her daughter walked out of the gas station to avoid further confrontation, and a male employee then walked out to stop her. She stated, the man taunted her daughter and convinced her to come back into the gas station. Once her daughter reentered the gas station, she said, the man grabbed her daughter and locked her behind the bulletproof partition. She went on to say, while her daughter was locked behind the partition with the 2 employees, her daughter was assaulted. She also said, her 16 year old daughter was punched by the man, and her 14 year old was hit in the head with a glass bottle.The female employee was said to be 20 years of age, and she allegedly beat on the 14 year old girl, while the male employee watched and made sure the partition was locked. Marinna Thompson stated that she was not there when the incident took place; she arrived on the scene at the same time as police. When police arrived, they took both employees into custody. They were released a day or so later. It was told to us, both employees are back working at the gas station as of now. Someone that was on the scene of the incident at the time it was happening, was able to provide us some footage. Here is the video:
