It was reported, Tuesday, the Groves High School student, Grace, was on probation and had several probation violations. Grace was said to have been put on probation in April, due to charges of theft and domestic violence. During that time, schools were closed and students were completing classwork online. During court, allegedly, Rachel Giroux claimed to not have known about Grace’s learning disabilities and ADHD, and Katherine Tarpeh was unavailable to testify on Grace’s behalf. Judge Mary Allen Brennan, ordered Grace to detention at the Children’s Village in Oakland County, reports say. It was said, the majority of the population at Children’s Village in Oakland County is white, and Grace is black. Grace’s next hearing is scheduled for September 8th.
