Brittany Harris is mourning the loss of her 6 year old son, after his body was discovered in the basement of a home in Warren. The home is located on Otis Avenue, near 9 mile and Dequindre. Warren police went to the home on Otis Avenue, presumably, after receiving information from Detroit police regarding a burned body found in a vehicle in Detroit. According to reports, the burned body that was found in the vehicle in Detroit, was identified, and that is what lead police to the house on Otis Avenue. When police arrived at the home, they discovered the 6 year old boy, and an adult woman in the basement of the home. According to officials, they were both found shot execution-style. It was said, the man found burned in the vehicle in Detroit, is the father of the 6 year old, and the woman found in the home is the father’s girlfriend. A mother is still left without answers, in regards to what happened to her son. Family members, friends, and the community are wondering what type of monster would kill a sweet little 6 year old. The investigation is still ongoing, and according to officials, there may be more than one suspect involved in the murders. Meanwhile, a family is left to pick up the pieces behind this tragedy.
