7mile Radio’s Marc D’Andre was in the area of 7 Mile and Van Dyke at around 6 p.m. Thursday evening, when he discovered the scene of a shooting. Detroit Police were on the scene of the shooting, along with several witnesses. The scene was near 7 Mile and Van Dyke, between the corners of Spencer Avenue and Stotter Street. The vehicle looks like a white 2020 Ford Fusion. Witnesses said, the victim of the shooting was transported by paramedics to a local hospital, and seemed to still be alive. One of the witnesses stated, the shooting occurred inside of the vehicle, and the victim was shot by his passenger. There is no word on the validity of that statement.
