A Family is in Mourning After a Murder took place at a Detroit Gas Station

A family is in mourning after a tragedy took place at a gas station on the east side of Detroit. The tragedy took place at the 76 Gas Station, at 10070 Gratiot Avenue, between Harper and Sterritt Street. Tiffany Lewis said her brother was patronizing the station Monday night, and was gunned down by a gas station attended; the attendant was reported to be around 18 years of age. According to reports, Joshua Lewis was engaged in a disagreement with the gas station attendant at around 10:30 pm Monday night. Joshua Lewis was there playing video games, and lost some of his money in one of the change machines, because the machine was malfunctioning, as stated by Tiffany Lewis. She said her brother was shaking the machine and trying to retrieve his money back, and the gas station attendant shot from behind the counter with an AK-47 and gunned Joshua Lewis down. Tiffany Lewis says, her brother was not a threat to anyone, and there was no reason for her brother to be killed in cold blood. According to family members, Joshua Lewis was a loving father, brother, son, and husband. The family has created a gofundme account to help with Joshua’s memorial.
