7mile Radio’s Marc D’Andre was at the scene on 7 Mile and Van Dyke, as he witnessed the inside of the Citgo gas station on fire, Monday evening. He went over to the gas station to catch some footage of the scene and speak to witnesses. Police and Firefighters were at the scene at the time, and smoke was still coming out of the entrance of the gas station. Police were informing those patronizing, the gas station was closed. Witnesses say, someone intentionally set the fire inside of the gas station. There is no word on the validity of that, or if any employees or customers were injured.
