Gas Station Shooting NOT Over Chips

Gas Station Shooting NOT Over Chips

Marc D’andre uncovers new developments have surfaced that suggest that the shooting at the Shell gas station on warren and Southfield was not over an alleged stolen bag of chips as originally reported. We received information from members of the neighborhood as well as a neighbor of the gun toting gas station clerk, who say that the group of men who visited the gas station that night frequently threatened the clerk and had been doing so for about 2 weeks. The gas station has been known to sell Marijuana and other illegal street drugs from behind the counter at the location. The clerk in question was known to participate in illegal drug transactions from behind the counter.

It was said that there was a possibility that drugs were given to the clerk up front to sell for one of them men who visited the gas station that night and the men came back occasionally to check on the collectible earnings. When no money was received, the threats began. On the night of the shooting the clerk was visited by the group of men who informed the clerk that he would not make it to his car that night when his shift ended because there was a “shooter” waiting for him outside if he didn’t come up with the money from the fronted drugs. One the men left the inside of the gas station, the clerk took it upon himself to fire a shot from inside of the store, thru the glass door striking one of them men in the group in the ribs.
