On September 5th, 2023, the Jeffersonian apartments in downtown Detroit experienced a devastating loss when Breonna Clayton, a 30-year-old woman, fell from the 24th floor. To commemorate Breonna ‘s life and offer solace to those affected by the tragedy, the Jeffersonian apartments have organized a solemn candlelight vigil. The event will be held at 9000 East Jefferson Street on Monday, September 11th, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The community is encouraged to attend and honor Breonna ‘s memory during this difficult time. Additionally, 7 Mile radio will be present to provide live coverage of the vigil, ensuring that the outpouring of support reaches far and wide.
