Roseville Kroger Employee Robbed By Rideshare Driver

The sister of an employee at a Kroger in Roseville, reported to us that her younger sister was robbed by her rideshare driver after her mother ordered her a Lyft for her to get home after her shift. The victim said, the Lyft driver arrived and she flagged him down to confirm he was the assigned driver. After it was confirmed, she alleges the Lyft driver started to get belligerent with her, insisting that she hurries with her belonging and get into the vehicle.

Then, reportedly, she started to load the vehicle’s back seat with her work bag containing pocket money and her work check, her work apron, and a large amount of groceries. She said, during the time she was loading the vehicle, the driver did not have the vehicle in park, and the vehicle was slowly moving. Allegedly, when she finished loading the vehicle, the driver sped off with her belongings in the back seat, knocking her to the ground. She said there were several witnesses that saw her fall to the ground, when the vehicle sped off. Reportedly, a witnesses saw the driver then pull the vehicle to the back of the Kroger, to meet up with another vehicle, and both vehicles sped off together.

The alleged victim has stated that she has made a police report, and has shared a Facebook post talking about the incident. When the Facebook post was made, there were several shares and comments on the post. One of the commenters reported in the comment section, that the Lyft driver sells fruit on Gratiot with his dad. Another inbox message was received from a woman on Facebook who alleges, that she was also robbed by the same Lyft driver, but she was robbed at gunpoint. Reportedly, several family members of the Lyft driver where in the comments of the post, asking for the post to be removed by the alleged victim. Here are some of the alleged Facebook interactions:
