Wednesday, a three year old boy was found dead in his home in Inkster, Michigan. Family members of the toddler, had been trying to contact his mother without success. So they went to the home and knocked on the door, and still did not get a response. They then called police; because there was a concern about the mother’s whereabouts. It was stated she may be suffering from mental illness. The police came to the Inkster residence, and discovered the 3 year old on the floor after entering. The toddler was found with several stab wounds. The mother was not in the home, but was later found by police. The mother is now in custody awaiting charges, and the investigation is ongoing.
