Waiting for Someone Else to make You Happy is the Best Way to be Sad

All anyone ever wants is to be happy. Happiness is a condition of goodness brought on by immense pleasure, joy, and overall good feelings. The biggest problem any of us has ever had with being happy is the methods we use to get there. You see oftentimes we leave the burden of our happiness to other people and when they fall short of the goal we, and only we, are left sad and mad we gave that responsibility to them. In reality, happiness is always ours to have and as soon as we realize that happiness is a decision that we all can easily make solo, then achieving it magically becomes easier and easier.

Now when we wait for someone else to make us happy, the only thing that we can be sure of is that at one point or another those someone else’s are going to mess up the plan. That’s because the plan was faulty at best because what works for someone else might not work for us. Only you know what fuels your fire. Only you know what motivates you to put in that extra work when you’re dog tired and think you don’t have anything left to give. Only you know what gets your motor revving! So what type of fool would expect anyone else to be more capable of making you happy than you are? Happiness is our responsibility all day, every day, 365 days of the year with no breaks, timeouts or layovers! In fact, the fastest way to sadness is leaving the burden of your personal happiness to someone else. No matter how close they are to you, no matter how much they profess to love you and no matter how worthy you think they are….your happiness belongs to YOU and is inspired by YOU so replicate it and activate it like the Super Star you already are because waiting around for Someone else to make you happy will take you back to whack and that’s a fact!

As always it is my pleasure to bring you another B Cyde Mental Meal to chew on throughout your week. Plan to JOIN the JAM Back on the B Cyde Saturdays at 11 am only
