Richard “White Boy Rick” Wershe Jr. was paroled in Michigan back in 2017, after serving 30 years for racketeering and drug convictions. He was then, supposedly, transported to Florida to serve 5 years for a previous car theft conviction. It was stated, his original release date from Florida was April 20, 2021. Reportedly, his current release date is now July, 20, 2020, updated by the Florida Department of Corrections. Richard “White Boy Rick” Wershe Jr.’s story was legendary, locally and nationally, for him being a drug-trafficker and FBI Informant at the tender age of 17 years old. His story reached a lot of heights; a movie and several documentaries were created about him. He was known to put away a lot of “Heavy Hitters” in the drug-trafficking scene in Detroit in the 80’s. It is unknown where “White Boy Rick” will reside once he is released.
