Work Hard on a Job to make a Living, Work Hard on Yourself & make a Fortune

From the first day of school and beyond, we have been brainwashed into thinking a job is the only way to make a living as an adult. We are taught to go to school, get good grades and get a good job and that is what a great many of us did. Yet, if I got a dollar from every person I’ve met that did a job they hated really well, I’d be rich. I think the world has evolved from when our parents reared us. Now, instead of telling our children to get a job to make a living, we should shape their minds toward working on themselves to make a Fortune, because, with hard work and good fortune, money is sure to follow. Here is where a new kind of success story should start if we shift our thinking to do our part.

Remember that money is a means to an end. It goes just as quickly as it comes and when you run out of it, you can get it back if you work at it. Time, on the other hand, is the one commodity that once lost, can never be regained. That is why we should lean towards working hard indeed but on ourselves rather than a job. For example, if you were to spend all your time, insight and effort working hard at a job you don’t even like and be underpaid and devalued, how would that make you feel? If you always worked so hard that you were the first to arrive and the last to leave, yet still making the same amount of money, would you be good with that? Hell no. That’s why you should never work harder on a job than you do on yourself. Redirect your energy towards working harder on you than you do on the job. You won’t cheat yourself, but jobs mistreat and cheat people every day. Since they are only worried about their bottom line, don’t you think it’s high time you should be concentrated on yours? If you don’t do it, who will? Sure it’s cool to make a living for a minute, but a self-built fortune will last a lifetime.

As usual, it is my pleasure to bring you another B Cyde Mental Meal to chew on throughout your week. Plan to JOIN the JAM with the show dubbed the Soul Train of RadioBack on the B Cyde Saturdays at 11 AM only on the multi-award-winning
