Detroit, MI – (10/20/2024) – A serious car accident occurred on East 7 Mile Road near the popular burger joint, Taylor Made Burgers, on Sunday evening, resulting in a chaotic scene that left several vehicles damaged and witnesses in shock.

The incident unfolded when a woman driving eastbound on 7 Mile attempted to weave around another vehicle in the right lane that was preparing to make a turn. In her attempt to maneuver, she collided head-on with a westbound pickup truck, leading to a violent chain reaction. The impact sent her car into a tailspin, causing her to crash into the very vehicle she was trying to avoid.

The collision did not stop there, as the pickup truck, now out of control, struck a car that was proceeding from Lamont Street into the intersection. An SUV positioned behind the pickup truck was also involved in the pileup. An additional mini van was involved in the crash but was seen leaving the scene before authorities arived, bringing the total number of cars in the accident to five.

Witnesses at the scene reported a loud crash followed by a flurry of activity as emergency responders arrived. Despite the significant damage to the vehicles involved, there were no immediate reports of serious injuries. The woman believed to be responsible for the crash was seen walking away from the scene as police were still assessing the situation. Eyewitnesses noted that she walked more than half a mile down the road before being located by authorities.
