Detroit, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking information from the community about a fatal hit and run crash that occurred August 11, 2026, at approximately 9:35 p.m. at Plymouth and Evergreen.

On the above date and time, the suspect vehicle (identified as a Chevrolet Equinox) was seen striking the victim, a male in his 30s. The suspect driver continues driving after hitting the victim. The driver then turns around and returns to the scene. The driver and a passenger get out of the vehicle, observe the victim and then return to the vehicle and
leave.
