Terry Flenory and his brother Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, were both sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2008. The brothers lead a massive drug empire that went across the United States. The empire was worth close to 300 million dollars, not including several other assets they acquired. They were leading the largest drug operation in the country. Terry Flenory was the head of the Los Angeles sector of the operation, and Demetrius Flenory was leading the Atlanta sector of the operation. The brothers are originally from Southwest Detroit.

Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, were the founders of Black Mafia Family (BMF). The Black Mafia Family was a hip hop music label that was launched in 1989. It was said, the hip hop label was used as a camouflage for money laundering. Because of BMF, the brothers became legendary in the hip hop industry. It has been told, that many huge names in the industry were a product of Black Mafia Family.

Now that we are in the year 2020, amid the Covid 19 pandemic, many prisoners are being released early. This is the prevent the spread of the virus within the prison system. Terry Flenory is one of the prisoners scheduled to be released. He is scheduled to be released on home monitoring, from a Kentucky prison on Tuesday. Demetrius Flenory remains in an Oregon prison. He is trying to get a compassionate release, due to his current health conditions. It was said, that Demetrius Flenory currently has health conditions that could leave him receptive to contracting Covid-19. He is corresponding with his lawyer, and awaiting a response.
