A Minneapolis man has been reported dead, after a video circulating on social media shows an officer kneeling on his neck. In the video, it looks as if the man is detained and handcuffed, while an officer continues to kneel on his neck. It sounds as though, the man is saying “I can’t breathe”, continuously in the video. The man then seems to go unresponsive. After further research on the incident, it was reported, the officers were on the scene to investigate a possible forgery. It was said, the man that was being detained possibly matched the description of persons involved in the forgery. Reportedly, the officers claimed the man was resisting arrest. It was stated, the man was transported to an area hospital, and later died to what was called a “medical episode”. It was told to us, the man has been identified as George Floyd, and there were four officers involved in the incident, which have now been relieved of duty.
