Man Charged with Vandalizing and Shooting into the Home of a Family in Warren

This is the continuation of the story we reported concerning the family whose home was vandalized in September. The very next day, after the story was reported, the Hall family said someone shot several times into their home. With the help of nearby ring doorbell cameras and other sources, a suspect has been taken into custody. According to officials, Michael John Frederick Jr. has been taken into custody, and charged with firing shots into the family’s home, and vandalizing their home and vehicle. It was reported, Frederick asked the family for forgiveness when he went before Judge Michael Chupa, Thursday. Frederick stated, “I’m extremely regretful of what I did. I can say it’s not like me. I acted way out of character. This wasn’t about the color of anyone’s skin.”, reported by witnesses in the courtroom. It was said, police believe the attacks on the home of the Hall family were invoked by the ‘Black Lives Matter’ sign the family had placed on their front window, and the actions of Frederick were motivated by racism. Frederick was recorded with a smile on his face, as he was taken into custody by police. As of now, he is still in police custody, but a bond has been set.
