7mile Radio’s Marc D’Andre had an exclusive interview with Detroit hip hop artists June Tee and Remy B. Jay Cutz of The Cut Detroit was also there at the time of the interview. During the interview, June Tee put the spotlight on one of his latest projects; a collaborative song featuring 12 Detroit artists. June Tee explained how several of the artists had differences and did not get along at one point, and how he had the ability to bring the artists together with love, and for the love of the music. The name of the song is ‘6Mile & Davo’, and it is a monumental project. A lot of the artists on the track are from 6 Mile and Davison in Detroit, and that is what inspired the name. Remy B expressed how he has been working hard on his music, and consistently in the studio creating tracks. He played one of his recent projects on air at the time of the interview. The name of the song is called ‘Mighty Joe Young’, and Remy B said the video can be found on YouTube by the song title and his name. Jay Cutz spoke about his love for hip hop and shared with us how he wrote articles about hip hop, and explained his involvement in music promotions.
