We received a tip that a shooting occurred at Clora Funeral Home on east 7Mile and Mound. When we arrived, there was a heavy police presence at the tire shop just 1 block east of the Funeral home. No word on any injuries or if a shooter was taken into custody or not. The funeral was for a 15 year old boy named Ashton Williams who was killed on Nov 17th at a sweet 16 party on the west side of Detroit. The story was that 2 teens were playing with a gun when one went off accidentally killing Ashton. Tips from social media suggested that the shooting that caused Ashtons death, and the funeral home shootings were intentional.

We also found a video from one of the family members who went live on the scene where Detroit Police detained family members of Ashton who fled from the scene after the shooting.
